The "Women in the HotSeat Rally Challenge" offers a unique opportunity for women to get a taste for the exciting sport of rallying. Competitors were given the chance to drive motorsport prepared cars and to learn new skills, such as how to control a sliding car with confidence! The competition is organised by Former British Ladies Rally Champion Kate Heath and the winner will not only receive professional team support for their first season's rallying, they will also win a rally car!
Becki from Events Northern is one of the competitors involved in the challenge and is excited to have reached the second round! Becki said "I have really enjoyed competing in Women in the HotSeat and I am absolutely thrilled to have got through to the second round of the competition!"

Events Northern is very proud to announce they have won a national award - the handbag.com Barclays Business Plan Awards 2004, under 25 category!
Events Northern lined up against 15 other finalists from across the UK. The Awards attracted entries from a wide variety of businesses including kids safety clothing, juice bars and an ethical fashion label. Nigel Griffiths MP, Minister for Small Business Enterprise presented Becki with her award at the glittering Awards Dinner, which took place in London on October 13th. The judges included representatives from handbag.com, Barclays and Business Link, aswell as Sahar Hashemi, co-founder of Coffee Rupublic, Nicola Gewirtz, founder of Lola Rose and George Derbyshire, CEO of the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies.
