North West Health and Physical Activity Forum (NWHPAF)
The North West Health and Physical Activity Forum (NWHPAF) Annual Conference will take place on 1st March 2012 at Leigh Sports Village. The conference is titled ‘Exploring Effective Relationships in Physical Activity and Health.’
The theme is creating more effective relationships to achieve objectives across all levels of the industry from commissioner to provider and delivery officers to clients.
Keynote Sessions include:
Making Physical Activity Everyone’s Business - integrating Physical Activity into all local authority departments

The Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for Event Management at the University of Central Lancashire recently asked Events Northern for our top ten hints and tips on professional
business etiquette for budding Event Managers. We started thinking
about our personal experience and the standards that are important to us
and this provided inspiration for a blog post.
As
an Event Manager it is vital to act professionally and ethically and to
present a positive business image at all times. We work in a
people-orientated industry. People buy from people and they want to
work with those that they respect and have faith in. You are an
ambassador for the company you work for and your conduct adds to your
“brand.” Of course these tips are not exclusive to the event industry and
are useful to businesses in a broad spectrum of professions.
