OBJECTIVES

The North West Cultural Education Awards aims to bring together teachers, cultural organisations, artists and influencers from across the North West, to celebrate their involvement in the Cultural Education Challenge.

The NW Cultural Education Awards shines a light on best practice, and those who have gone above and beyond in their work to bring the benefits of great arts and culture to the regions children and young people.

OVERVIEW

After the success of the inaugural NW Cultural Education Awards in 2017, we were delighted to work with Curious Minds again in 2018 on this high profile and prestigious celebration. The event brought together over 300 attendees to experience workshops, a ‘Wonderland’ creative space highlighting some of the regions rich and diverse cultural offer for schools, and finally the awards ceremonies itself. Hosted by comedian, Anna McGowan, awards were presented across 15 separate categories, from which winners had been selected by an independent panel of judges. Events Northern managed the entire submission and judging process, as well as the event logistics and bookings.

The North West Cultural Education Awards will return bi-annually with the next event planned to happen in 2020.
